Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is your style. Whether I'm looking at a wardrobe or a room, my approach is based on three rules.
1. Sensational style happens at every price point.
2. Use what you've got.
3. Incorporate new pieces over time.
There are inspirational and functional pieces for every budget. Personal style is a reflection of who you are, not the labels you wear.
The infinite search with the infinite budget for the perfect piece is a recipe for insanity. Working around what you already own inspires greater creativity and highlights your personal style.
If you buy everything all at once, you have to replace everything all at once, which is expensive and limits you to a single season. Your style evolves with you and building your collection of pieces gradually allows you greater flexiblity.
